This feature film showcases beautiful original music by London composer, Stephen Ingram, musical numbers featuring the triple threats of the all youth cast, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at creating and presenting original work during a global pandemic.
So much of our lives lately have been cancelled, but this show chronicles all of the things that can not be cancelled - love, dance, friendship, music, etc. It’s a COVID-19 musical, but it focuses more on the positives of the pandemic, with the themes being centred more toward the community-building, the acts of kindness, and the compassionate movements that have come out of the last year. It’s ​inspired by a book that was written and published during the first few months of COVID called “Not Cancelled; Canadian Kindness in the face of COVID-19”, that documents the pandemic-time true stories of various individuals across Canada finding the silver lining.
